Every day, hundreds of couples Breakup that take place in the nook and corner of the world. Adding to it, are thousands of memes, quotes and trolls on Facebook, Tumblr and other social networking sites.

But behind all this breaking up, grieving, hovering of chocolates, tubs of ice-creams, what is the real story? Are breakups agents of eternal sorrow or just eye openers?

There are two sides to every coin. For some, it may be a-very-long-recovery-breakup involving lots of crying, chocolates, Ben n Jerry’s, TV shows, shopping, outings with friends and a long list of Breakup therapies and remedies. For some, it might just be a hard whip to the heart and soul opening their eyes.

In the contemporary era, the former one happens occasionally where two people are head over heels with one another while the latter one is often seen. And there might be just another scenario where both the parties turn super detectives trying to spy and make each other’s lives miserable, at least from some time.

When two people get into a relationship, they fail to realize that it’s not just about love, but responsibility, commitment and care towards one another. And when things fail to go the way they want, Breakup is always the option.

Well, I do not deny the fact that it’s hard at times. But, now a days they have become much like eye openers, giving both the guy and the girl a clear idea of what they want and don’t want in the next relationship. There’s of course the pain but it doesn’t last long. Sometimes, this might also serve as a much needed break to make up later with better understanding of each other.

Putting all these aside, there’s another kind – The dramatic-post-breakup-kind that gives one hell of an entertainment to the ones that observe it but proves to be a hell for those involved.

These kind of post-breakup incidents involve one partner vowing to make other’s life miserable, spying on everything in their life and messing things up. All this happens because of the anger and frustration of either of the partners. And all this goes on till the anger fades away.

With the change in the patterns of dating, breakups have become common. And so is the way of dealing with them. However, there has been a lot of waking up and fast-forgetting between the couples lately when compared to the making-up or over-grieving.
