Weight loss problems let me tell you, is a tricky one. It is rather a frustrating and daunting issue. According to a survey by National Health and Nutrition, 2 out of every 3 adults are facing weight problems. Now that’s a weighty concern! We all are battling our weight problems, and so am I.
I was a bony lad a couple of years back, approximately weighing 58 Kg. I decided to put some weight and joined the gym. I gained 20 kg during my gym days. But work life has caught up with me and from the past 6 months I have not been able to work out (well, my busy schedule does not let me).
Determined to lose weight at any cost , I consulted a few dieticians and they have given a lazy guy like me a good solution which I’m amazed to say, is working! So here I would like to share the tips with everyone.
Here are few steps which are easier to include in your daily routine than a heavy work out program.
1. Fat Burns Fat
Natural fat (unsaturated fat) i.e. monounsaturated (MUFA) and polyunsaturated (PUFA) is good to burn fat. You can make your food taste good with fish, seeds, nuts, leafy vegetables, olive oil, avocadoes etc and it can be healthy too!
2. Green Tea
Green tea shines with its abundance of antioxidants called catechins. These are power houses that not only help you manage your weight but also leave you looking healthy and young. Catechins can be taken both from green tea as well as supplements.

4. Yoga
Yoga is traditionally based on breathing techniques paired with static poses. It’s easy to perform and relaxes your mind, body and soul. The effects of traditional Yoga are not immediate but definitely not to be undermined. Western variation is the power yoga which combines meditative breathing with more active movement for immediate effects. Stars like Jennifer Anniston, Madonna and Russell Brand swear by Yoga in keeping them fit.
5. Eat proteins
Protein rich food like Chicken breast, eggs, beans, milk etc, not only help your body gain some muscle instead of fat, and they also take lot of time to digest. This subdues your hunger pangs and helps you digest any unnecessary fat.

6. Chew food slowly
It is said that you need to chew your food 32 times before swallowing. And it’s beneficial to do that. Eating food in small morsels instead of big ones and chewing food thoroughly makes you enjoy what you eat, ease the digestion process as it begins from mouth and you attain a sense of satisfaction faster. This can help you avoid overeating. It also helps to get the proper nutrition, you can help achieve that by taking a supplement like Balance of Nature. Image: lifemartini
7. Good Sleep
Sleep deprivation can lead to adding extra inches to your waist line. Think about it… It’s when you are sleepy at work that you feel more tired and feel the urge to grab a cup of coffee or a bag of chips. A sound sleep will allow your metabolism to function normally rather than helping you lose weight.
