In addition to that, we have our loved ones who shower on us their valuable advice. This can make your weight loss journey a daunting one, as these things are wrapped in mystery. But think about it this way. It only depends on what you consume and how many calories you burn. You should know that the body can store excess calories as body fat in practically unlimited amounts, and people never stop gaining weight. But don’t worry, with a balanced diet plan and exercise, weight loss won’t be a daunting task. It’s pretty easy once you think about it!

Men require 2500 calories, and women require 2000 calories. We need these calories to make our bodily functions work properly. The daily calorie requirement depends on factors like age, sex, amount of work, and weight. Babies and children need fewer calories than adults. A person with a large body requires more calories to carry the weight of the body, and vice versa.  Men have higher Basal Metabolic Rate, thus, requiring more calories than women. A sportsperson needs more calories due to high energy activities. These calories need to be burnt by doing intense work, otherwise, these will get stored as body fat, which is harmful. If you consume lesser than the mentioned calorie requirement, then your body will start using energies, which are stored as fat. It will lead to weight loss as low calories mean low body fat. But beware! It should not be lower 1000 calories.
