It all began in the year 2018, when Soul Scriber’s Society Salem in partnership with Rotary Club of Salem Galaxy curated the Ist Yercaud Poetry Festival and named it as “Plant Poetry”. Poets from all over the country participated and submitted their poems on theme – ‘Earth’ compiled in an anthology and published by Authors Press, New Delhi.
In 2019, SSS Team coined ‘Water’ as muse to count it as the second element and requested all the participating poets to submit their poems. In association with Rotary Club of Salem Galaxy they organised and ventured the IInd Yercaud Poetry Festival, compiling all contributed poems in their second anthology named as “Float Poetry – Re-verse the Rivers” published by Authors Press, New Delhi.
The third element being ‘fire’, Team SSS and Rotary Club are looking forward to have the IIIrd Yercaud Poetry Festival tentatively in the 1st or 2nd week of August month. This time the anthology being named as “Ignite Poetry – Rekindle a Flame” like always will get released during the event.
